Accessibility Guide

AED Locations

 

Each level of the arena is equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED), which can save lives in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. They are located near the elevators at Sections 106, 210 and 310. In the event of an emergency, please notify the nearest staff member.

Alcohol Policies

Guests are expected to act responsibly when consuming alcoholic beverages. A summary of our alcohol policies is available below.

  • Oklahoma Law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Guests are required to show proper I.D. and proof of age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
  • The number of alcoholic beverages served may be limited to one (1) drink per person, per purchase.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service to guests who appear intoxicated or who are disturbing other guests.
  • Alcohol and beer sales are discontinued approximately one (1) hour before the event is over.
  • We encourage guests to drink responsibly and not to drive after drinking. 

Announcements

All in-game announcement requests should be sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder’s guest relations department. You can contact them at fans@okcthunder.com or by phone at (405) 208-4800. At least 48 hours notice is required for all announcements.

ATM Location

For your convenience, an ATM is available at Section 119/120.

Backstage Passes

Backstage passes, or meet and greet passes, are not issued by the arena.

Bag Policy

All bags will be searched upon entry. Bags larger than 6” x 9” x 2” are not permitted (this includes clear bags).

In the event that prohibited items are revealed during a search, the guest will be permitted to return to their vehicle with the item or the item will be confiscated. Paycom Center will not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type. Paycom Center management has the sole right to determine the type of pre-event screening including but not limited to a bag search, x-ray machines, wands, pat-downs, and walk-thru metal detectors. 

Banners & Signs

Signs and posters larger than 11" x 17" are prohibited.

Banners and signs are permitted as long as they do not block the view of others, interfere with the event, contain advertising of any form, present a safety hazard or contain political or obscene material. Banners may not be affixed with any type of material that is permanent in nature or that alters the facility in any manner. Poles and sticks are prohibited. Building management reserves the right to remove any banner or sign. Signs may also be prohibited if requested by the event.

Cameras / Recording Devices

Cameras with professional/interchangeable/detachable lenses and/or lenses greater than 3 inches in length will not be permitted, nor will monopods, tripods or flash. Audio and video recording are always strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist or event.

Paycom Center reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that conflicts with the policy set by the event. To confirm specific policies in advance, visit the event page you’re attending, email us, or call 405-602-8700.

Cashless Venue

Our arena is a cashless venue. Cards are accepted throughout the arena.

Guests can exchange cash for a Mastercard / prepaid card at Reverse ATMs, located at the Northeast Entrance by Section 106, the Northwest Entrance by Michelob Ultra Club, and Section 311/312. Remaining balance on cards can be used at any location outside of the arena. There is no activation fee required. Cards can be made for any denomination between $20-$500. A digital receipt is sent with a link to check the card's balance.

chargeFUZE Portable Phone Chargers

Throughout the property, you can find chargeFUZE portable phone charging kiosks that allow guests to rent a portable mobile power bank that can be used anywhere and returned to any location on site. ChargeFUZE power-banks are built in to include charging cables for iOS, Android, and other devices.

To use a chargeFUZE power-bank, scan a QR code on the digital screen to initiate the rental, charge any device with the portable charger, then return the charger to any chargeFUZE kiosk in the venue. Rental fees are $2 per 30 minutes, with a maximum rental fee of $40 if the charger isn’t returned to the network.

ChargeFUZE kiosks are located at Sections 111, 118, 229, and 313.

Children's Admission

Children’s ticket policies vary by event. For most shows geared toward children, any child who has reached their first birthday must have a ticket. For most concerts and touring shows, children who have reached their second birthday require a ticket. For Oklahoma City Thunder games, children ages 2 & below do not require a game ticket; ages 3 and up (this includes children needing a seat) require a game ticket to enter Paycom Center. In some cases an event will require every guest, regardless of age, to have a ticket. However, for every event, a child will require a ticket in order for them to have their own seat. Concessions & Dining

In addition to concession stand favorites, Levy offers a number of unique selections while making quality a top priority. Traveling east on I-40

Note: These directions have changed with the opening of the new I-40 Crosstown.

  • Exit at Shields and proceed north toward downtown. Shields will become EK Gaylord Blvd. The arena is at SW corner of EK Gaylord and Reno Ave.
  • Those parking in the Prairie Surf Studios parking garage can access it from EK Gaylord.

Traveling west on I-40

  • Exit I-40 onto I-235 N
  • Take Exit 1C for Sheridan Ave W toward Downtown
  • Follow Sheridan west into Bricktown
  • Proceed west to EK Gaylord
  • Turn left onto EK Gaylord (Please not that you can access the east entrance to the underground parking garage at Prairie Surf Studios from EK Gaylord)
  • Paycom Center is located at the SW corner of EK Gaylord and Reno Ave.
  • Alert: These directions will change starting Sunday, Feb. 19.

Traveling north on I-35

  • Continue onto I-235 N
  • Take Exit 1C for Sheridan Ave W toward Downtown
  • Follow Sheridan west into Bricktown
  • Proceed west to EK Gaylord
  • Turn left onto EK Gaylord (Please not that you can access the east entrance to the underground parking garage at Prairie Surf Studios from EK Gaylord)
  • Paycom Center is just west of EK Gaylord and Reno

Traveling south on I-35

  • Continue onto I-40 W
  • Exit onto I-235 N
  • Take Exit 1C for Sheridan Ave W toward Downtown
  • Follow Sheridan west into Bricktown
  • Proceed west to EK Gaylord
  • Turn left onto EK Gaylord (Please not that you can access the east entrance to the underground parking garage at Prairie Surf Studios from EK Gaylord)
  • Paycom Center is just west of EK Gaylord and Reno

From Will Rogers World Airport

  • Follow Terminal Dr. (which turns into S. Meridian)
  • Exit at I-44 / Downtown ramp
  • Merge onto I-40 East and follow directions above

Doors Open

Arena doors are scheduled to open 90 minutes prior to the start time of each Thunder home game. For touring shows, this may vary by event. To verify when doors open for a specific event, please call (405) 602-8700 or visit the event page for the show you are attending.

Entrances

Two entrances to the arena are located on the north side on Reno Avenue, at the northeast and northwest corners.

Another entrance is located on the southwest side of the Arena by the Michelob Ultra Club and Old No. 7 Club, just off of Robinson.

There is also an entrance with direct access to the Club and Suite Level available on the east side of the arena across from the Courtyard by Marriott parking garage.

Elevators

There are three (3) sets of passenger elevators.

Section 101

  • access to all levels – including floor seating
  • located near the northwest entrance

Section 106

  • access to all levels – except floor seating
  • located near the northeast entrance

Section 109

  • access to Club and Suite Level seating only
  • located just inside the exclusive Club and Suite Level entrance on the east side

Section 116

  • access to 200 and 300 level seating only
  • located near the southwest entrance

Escalators

Escalators are available near each of the two primary public entrances to provide access to the Club and Suite level and upper-level seating.

Stairs

Stairs are also available next to the escalators to provide public access to the upper seating levels.

Emergency Evacuation

In the event of an emergency, please remain calm and WALK to the nearest exit in an orderly fashion. Follow posted signs and listen to announcements for specific instructions. In some circumstances you will be directed to remain in the building and staff will direct you where to go. Please do not use elevators. If you are disabled, trained staff members will assist you in getting to safety.

First Aid

First aid facilities are available on the entry level across from Section 112. The arena is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) located near the elevators at Sections 106, 210, 228, and 310. Designated employees, including trained medical staff, have been properly trained and certified to use the AED. In the event of a medical emergency, contact a member of our staff for assistance.

Fundraising Opportunities

Tired of the same old fundraisers? Looking for a creative alternative to bake sales and car washes? Levy and ASM Global offer non-profit organizations an opportunity to staff many of the concession stands at both Paycom Center and the neighboring Prairie Surf Studios as a way to raise funds for their activities. It serves as an alternative to traditional fundraising while developing teamwork and camaraderie in an exciting atmosphere. Learn more here.

Guest Conduct

In order to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, we ask that guests be courteous to those around them and abide by building policies. Guests using foul or abusive language, behaving in an unruly manner or appearing intoxicated are subject to ejection and/or arrest.

Guest Relations

Our Guest Relations team is here to assist each of our patrons and to help ensure that they have safe and enjoyable experience. If you wish to obtain information or request assistance, please notify a member of our staff or visit one of our four (4) Guest Relations desks conveniently located near each entrance on the main concourse, as well as at the club and suite level entrances.

Handouts

The distribution of promotional items, handbills, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures, is not permitted on Paycom Center property without prior written authorization from ASM Global.

Lost & Found

During an event, you may inquire about lost or found items at any Guest Relations location. For inquiries following an event, please call (405) 602-8661 or during business hours.

Lost Children or Companions

Lost children should be escorted to the nearest officer or staff member. The lost child will be assisted at a Guest Relations location. In the event that you become separated from your child or a member of your party, you will also want to contact the nearest officer or staff member.

Merchandise

Numerous merchandise or novelty booths are available throughout Paycom Center during events. The main Thunder Shop is located across from Section 120. The shop is open weekdays from 10 AM – 6 PM and can be accessed on the west side of the arena.

Paging (In Arena)

While Paging in the arena is not available, please contact 405-602-8700 and a Guest Relations Representative will assist you.

Additional parking is available nearby, throughout downtown and Bricktown.

Premium Seating

Prohibited Items

We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search, which includes metal detecting hand wands upon entry. For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • WEAPONS OF ANY KIND concealed or unconcealed, including but not limited to: knives, mace, blades, tasers / stun guns, pepper spray, bats, clubs, and/or tools.
  • Large banners and flags: Signage cannot be larger than 11” x 17” in size. Spectators are not permitted to use or wave flags, banners, signs or other items that are affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material. No signs, posters, or messages on any garment with explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization directed toward any person(s). Political signage and solicitation are restricted from being brought into the building.
  • Bags larger than 6" x 9" x 2" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.
  • Cameras with professional/interchangeable/detachable lenses and/or lenses greater than 3” in length.
  • Audio/visual recording devices (including GoPro, Google Glass, Spectacles, etc.). Audio and video recording are always strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist or event.
  • Poles, selfie-sticks, tripods, monopods, and missile-like objects that can be thrown.
  • I-Pads, tablets, or laptops.
  • Outside food and beverage. Should you need to bring food to an event for medical reasons, please call 405-602-8533 or email sking@asm-okc.com for assistance.
  • Chains of any kind including wallet chains or pocket chains,
  • Wrapped gifts of any kind,
  • Laser pens/pointers or any similar devices.
  • Balloons, beach balls, and/or frisbees.
  • Fireworks,
  • Aerosol cans,
  • Whistles, foghorns/airhorns, plastic horns (such as vuvuzelas and didgeridoos) or noisemakers of any type.
  • No signs, posters, or messages on messages on any garment with explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization directed toward any person,
  • Drones or any other model aircraft,
  • Hazardous materials,
  • Illegal substances,
  • Optical Illusions which are intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pinwheels or umbrellas. (Umbrellas are allowed on days with inclement weather as long as they remain unopened inside the arena.)
  • Strollers are discouraged and will need to be checked in with guest services.  
  • Hoverboards, Segway, or any other similar non-medically necessary mobility apparatus.  
  • Hard-sided containters i.e. insulated cups or mugs.
  • Any other items deemed inappropriate by ASM Global and Paycom Center.  

If an item is revealed during a search, patrons may dispose of the item or they may return the item to their vehicle. Paycom Center does not safeguard any personal belongings or other items.​

Re-Entry

For your safety, once a person exits Paycom Center, re-entry is prohibited.

Restrooms

Paycom Center offers a total of 48 restrooms including 12 unisex family restrooms, which include diaper-changing stations and are accessible to persons with disabilities. 

Reverse ATMs

Rideshare

Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft pickup and drop off point is at Second and Harvey, located on the west side of Paycom Center.

Seat Numbers

When facing the stage or playing surface, seat No. 1 will always be the farthest to the right in each row at the arena.

Smoking Policy

Paycom Center is a smoke-free environment. On December 22, 2015, the Oklahoma City Council passed Ordinance No. 25,294 related to use of tobacco products in/on city-owned property. Specifically, the ordinance states that smoking on all city property including parks, trails, and grounds on and around city buildings is prohibited.  Additionally, the use of e-cigarettes, vaporizers, and other similar products is prohibited.

Team Store

The Thunder Shop's regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.The store's hours can vary on holidays and days when there is a game or event at Paycom Center. You can contact the Thunder Shop at (405) 605-4306.

Courtesy phones are available at each Guest Relations desk, near each entrance.
