This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repairs of facility and client audio, video, and technical systems including lighting, sound, video, telephone systems, computer/data systems (internet) and radio and television broadcasts. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following.  Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Setup, monitor and maintain all technical/staging equipment in the facility in regards to but not limited to audio, video, presentation/show lighting, scoreboard operations, staging equipment, telecommunications (phone service, special circuits and network.)
  • Provide installation, and repairs on services such as phone, network, cable feeds, audio and video being either event related or structural.
  • Coordinates telephone systems provider’s services outside the facility with in-house requirements.
  • Maintains applicable code requirements that apply to cable insulation, ceiling plenum routing and support, wall penetration and fire routing when conduit raceways are necessary.
  • Solves routine and extraordinary field technical problems
  • Correctly uses and applies test equipment to verify problems to the facility systems
  • Works from blueprints and develops sketches or schematics when necessary
  • Reads, understands and communicates client floor plan layouts.
  • Supervises and assists outside contractors, stagehands, riggers, and production crews
  • Maintains inventory of all audio, video, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Provides internet connections with the direction and assistance of the IT department
  • Coordinates work with all operations sections; interfaces effectively with all users, providers and peers.
  • Working knowledge of RF cable signals and plants
  • Knowledge of installation of patch bays, switchers, mixers and converters in both audio and video applications.
  • Maintains/ Services wide variety of Audio-Video-Lighting-Networking systems including Vitec IPTV, IPC Centrix phone, Crestron, Musco, ETC, Eaton, Adflow, and VenueNext throughout the building.
  • Maintains/ services servers, encoders, broadcast patching, digital signage, and multiple software.
  • Able to install/ design/ service various projects as needed throughout the building.
  • Responsible for IT tasks such as wiring, routing, installing, networking, at the hardware and/ or physical network throughout.
  • Operating systems during events when needed or coverage is not available.
  • Maintain/ service all building lighting systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for all related equipment maintenance, repair, and inventory.
  • Coordinates with and assists outside contractors, stage hands, riggers, and production crews in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Performs event standby and troubleshoots technical problems in real time situations
  • Ability to identify and terminate all forms of audio and video connections whether consumer, professional or broadcast level.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of signal flow for both audio and video applications.
  • Working knowledge of wireless systems and frequencies
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital vs. analog signals in both audio and video
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and company vehicles.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Guest Relations and Event Security Managers, the primary focus of this representative is to provide World-Class customer service to all guests at Paycom Center  This is a part-time position that is usually scheduled to work after normal business hours.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure guests feel welcomed by greeting and seating guests in the arena in a friendly, professional manner.

  • Accurately check all staff/guests bags as they enter the arena, using x-ray viewing equipment, to determine whether items contain objects that warrant further investigation, and set bags aside for searching or re-screening as indicated by equipment.
  • Operate a walkthrough magnetometer to screen guests, employees and contractors entering the arena.
  • Ensure guests feel welcomed by greeting guests to the arena in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Verifies credentials to ensure control of access into restricted areas.
  • Clean and disinfect high touch point surfaces with a cleaning cloth multiple times per shift, like x-ray equipment, ticket kiosks, handrails, and search tables.
  • Assist guests in ticket scanning kiosks when needed.
  • Responds immediately and professionally to guest disturbances/incidents.
  • Secures the perimeter of ticketed areas.
  • Arrives for shift on time, neatly groomed and in a clean, pressed well maintained uniform.
  • Accurately and thoroughly complete incident reports when needed.
  • Effectively diffuse potentially volatile situations.
  • Works cooperatively with other departments and vendors within the arena.
  • Interacts with guests in a polite and professional manner.
  • Answers guests’ questions in a knowledgeable, helpful and professional manner.
  • Consistently and continually enforces facility policies and procedures relative to prohibited items, disruptive guests, etc.

Under direct supervision of the Controller – Performs the daily activities of the accounting function at the facility and other duties as required by the Controller or Finance Director.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains detailed accounting records; performs event settlements and event income (flash) reports.
  • Prepares monthly facility financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Reconciles general ledger account activity, balances A/R and A/P control accounts to detail aging.
  • Maintains cash balance records, reconciles cash receipts and disbursements to the general ledger.
  • Performs monthly closing of the general ledgers and completes the monthly accounting cycle.
  • Accounts for facility financial transactions and inputs event journal entries.
  • Assists A/R and A/P clerks with coding of receipts and disbursements into the general ledger.
  • Performs monthly account analysis on all general ledger accounts and prepares adjusting journal entries.
  • Maintains and audits box office ticket sales reports.
  • Coordinates internal and external audits of the facility financial records
  • Maintains records for advanced deposits for events.
  • Ensures SMG Accounting policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Works as a liaison with other facility departments to wrap up event accounting activity.
  • Performs analytical reviews of facility financial data
  • Other duties as assigned by Controller or Finance Director.
  • On occasion, responsible for building event settlement – requiring attendance at events during events (evening, holidays or weekends)

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has minimal supervisory responsibilities other than assisting other departmental staff accountants, if applicable or other more recently hired staff accountants. Provides assistance to accounting clerks within the department.
